Each shutter is custom made to suit doors; half doors; cupboard doors; bay windows; arches; windows; corners and any other shape you may need. Interior shutters add a refined lasting architectural dimension to any setting, with all the attributes to increase your home’s value. Our interior shutters adapt to virtually any window, letting you control the amount of light in your rooms, from bright sunlight to secure darkness. Our shutters are available in two louvre widths 65mm and 95mm, and can be made to any shape and size. Manufacturing lead time 3 -4 weeks (or 5 -6 weeks on very big jobs), although we can accommodate urgent orders within reason. Installation thereafter is a mere day or so. We have found that our shutters are an effective safety deterrent.

 Stained shutters

For stained finishes customers can pick a stain from the colour samples above (these stain swatches will accompany us on our visit to quote you, so you can have a better look in the light of your space).
If the stain required is different the customer must provide us with a sample and we will make a match. For maintaining the stained shutters WOODOC furniture polish is advised, on a 6 monthly basis.

 Painted shutters

All painted shutters are sprayed in a satin finish. Custom paint colours reference the Dulux or Plascon colour codes. For cleaning painted finishes, its recommended to use only a feather duster to clean shutters. If dirty marks occur a damp rag with sunlight liquid can be used.
 
Our sash fasteners are solid brass which can be anodised to look matt or glossy silver.
Our hinges are made of stainless steel and are naturally non-rusting. We can also install flush brass or anodised barrel bolts for locking.
